Terms of Service

Plain summary: Wyreup provides access to freely available file utilities, organized for convenience. You use them. You choose the inputs, build the chains, run the tools, and decide what to do with the outputs. Wyreup is the access layer, not the author of what you build with it.

1. Who we are

"Wyreup," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Wyreup, operated from Indiana, United States. We publish the website wyreup.com and the @wyreup/core, @wyreup/cli, and @wyreup/mcp packages on npm. You can reach us at hello@wyreup.com.

2. What Wyreup is — and what it isn't

Wyreup provides access to a collection of independent file and text utilities. Most of the underlying capabilities (image compression, PDF extraction, regex generation, etc.) are commonly available on their own; we organize them behind a consistent interface, an optional chain runner, and an optional hosted-AI tier. The convenience of access does not make us the author of the work you do with the tools, the compositions you assemble, or the outputs you generate.

There are two tiers:

  • Free tools run entirely on your device — in your browser, or locally via the CLI / MCP. Wyreup is not involved at runtime; your input files, parameters, and outputs never reach our infrastructure. Free tools require no account.
  • PRO tools are tools where, when you invoke them, your input is forwarded through Wyreup's edge to a third-party hosted-AI model (Cloudflare Workers AI, or an external image-model provider) that you have selected by choosing the PRO tool. The model — not Wyreup — runs against your input. Wyreup is the conduit between you and the model; we route the request, bill the credit, and return the model's response to you. PRO usage requires an account and consumes credits.

Wyreup is not:

  • a storage service — we don't retain your files, your outputs, or the contents of anything you process;
  • a professional-advice service — outputs from AI tools are not legal, medical, financial, accounting, engineering, or other professional advice, regardless of how authoritative they read;
  • a notarization, signing, certification, or chain-of-custody service — outputs we produce have no legal weight unless you separately certify them;
  • a guarantee of correctness — every tool may be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific use case, and you are responsible for verifying outputs before relying on them.

3. Accounts and API keys

An account is identified by an email and one or more API keys. We store the SHA-256 hash of each key — never the raw value. Treat your keys like passwords. You can revoke or rotate them at any time from your account page.

You are responsible for activity originating from your keys. If you believe a key has been compromised, revoke it immediately at wyreup.com/account.

4. Credits

Credits are a prepaid unit that fund PRO tool runs. Pricing and the credit cost per tool are listed on our pricing page. Credits do not expire, do not transfer between accounts, and have no cash value outside Wyreup. See our refund policy for refunds.

5. Your inputs, your chains, your outputs

You — not Wyreup — use the tools. You select which tools to run, you provide the inputs, you configure any chains or trigger rules, and you decide what to do with the outputs. Wyreup provides access to the tools and (for PRO) routes your input to the third-party model you've selected; we don't review, vouch for, or take responsibility for what you do with that access. You are solely responsible for:

  • Inputs. Every file, text, URL, or parameter you submit. You confirm you have the right to process it under applicable copyright, privacy, contractual, and other laws.
  • Chains and trigger rules. Compositions you build from individual tools — including any combination that, by virtue of being composed, produces a result with greater impact than any single step. Composing legal individual operations into an illegal aggregate operation is your responsibility, not ours.
  • Every action you take. Wyreup does not select files, choose tools, build chains, or fire actions on your behalf. You drop the file. You click the button. You save the trigger rule and choose to confirm it when a matching file arrives. Even when a configured trigger rule appears to act automatically, the rule itself is something you previously authored and confirmed; each match still surfaces a preview that requires your action to proceed unless you have explicitly marked the rule as trusted. Wyreup never initiates work against your data of its own accord. If you experience an outcome you didn't intend, the cause is your input, your tool choice, your chain, your trigger configuration, or your downstream use — not an action Wyreup took independently.
  • Outputs. Anything you generate using Wyreup — text, images, transcripts, summaries, redactions, extracted data, derivative files. We do not review outputs. We make no claim that an output is suitable for any purpose, including the specific purpose you generated it for.
  • Downstream use. What you do with outputs — publishing, sharing, sending, signing, relying on, building on top of — is entirely yours. Outputs are not Wyreup statements, positions, or endorsements.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Wyreup to:

  • submit content you don't have the right to submit, including copyrighted material without license, personal data of third parties without their consent, or trade secrets you don't have authority over;
  • submit data that violates the laws of your jurisdiction or any jurisdiction with applicable cross-border-data rules — including but not limited to GDPR transfer restrictions, UK data residency requirements, US export controls (ITAR, EAR), and sectoral data-localization rules;
  • submit data subject to a special compliance regime you have not independently confirmed is satisfied by using Wyreup — including but not limited to HIPAA-protected health information, PCI-DSS cardholder data, classified or export-controlled government information, attorney-client privileged material, financial data covered by GLBA / SOX, or biometric data covered by BIPA-style statutes. Wyreup makes no compliance certification for any such regime. If you are not certain your submission is permitted by the rules that apply to you, don't submit it;
  • attempt to extract model weights, reverse-engineer hosted endpoints, or otherwise abuse the PRO infrastructure;
  • circumvent the rate limits, credit checks, API authentication, webhook signatures, or any other technical control of our service;
  • produce material that is illegal under the laws of the United States or the State of Indiana — including but not limited to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), content that incites imminent violence, malware, or material that violates intellectual-property law;
  • impersonate any person or entity, including Wyreup or its employees, in outputs or in communications about Wyreup;
  • use Wyreup to build a competing service that resells our PRO infrastructure under a different brand.

Cross-border processing — your responsibility

PRO requests are routed through Cloudflare's global edge network. Cloudflare may handle any individual request from any of its data centers worldwide, and the third-party model provider that runs against your input may operate in any region where it has infrastructure. Wyreup does not select the region, and we do not guarantee which country a given request will pass through.

Your data does not see Wyreup's own servers in any meaningful sense — Wyreup itself is an edge-compute application running on Cloudflare's network. If your data is subject to data-residency, cross-border-transfer, or sovereignty requirements (such as GDPR transfer rules, UK data localization, healthcare or government sectoral regimes, or financial-services egress restrictions), it is your responsibility to independently verify whether routing the data through Cloudflare's network and the relevant model provider is permitted under the rules that apply to you. If you cannot make that determination, do not use PRO tools with that data.

Free tools are not affected — they run entirely on your device and never touch Cloudflare's network or any third-party model.

We may suspend or revoke access for violation of these rules without refund of unused credits associated with the violating activity. We may also report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities, and you waive any objection to that disclosure for activity that violates this section.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Wyreup is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, title, accuracy, and any warranty arising from course of dealing, course of performance, or usage of trade.

We do not warrant that Wyreup will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that defects will be corrected. We do not warrant that any tool — free or PRO — will produce output that is accurate, complete, current, lawful, or suitable for your purpose. AI-generated output in particular may be wrong, misleading, biased, or fabricated; verify everything before relying on it.

You are responsible for keeping your own backups of any data you process through Wyreup. We retain nothing.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In those jurisdictions, the disclaimers above apply only to the extent permitted by law, and you may have additional rights as a consumer.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any and all claims arising out of or related to your use of Wyreup — whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, statute, or any other theory — is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US $50.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages — including but not limited to lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, business interruption, regulatory fines, or the cost of substitute services — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages and even if any remedy in these terms fails of its essential purpose.

You acknowledge that the pricing of Wyreup, including the free tier and the small per-credit cost of the PRO tier, reflects this allocation of risk between us, and that the limits above are an essential basis of our agreement. They survive any termination of these terms or your use of Wyreup.

Carve-outs. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited by applicable law — including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer where those rights cannot be waived under the law of your jurisdiction. If any part of this section is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect, and the unenforceable part will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Wyreup, its operators, employees, agents, and contractors from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • your use of Wyreup in violation of these terms or applicable law;
  • content you submit through Wyreup or produce using it — including claims that you didn't have the right to submit the input under applicable copyright, privacy, or data-protection law, or that the output infringes a third party's rights;
  • chains or trigger rules you configure — including compositions that produce results with effects you did not anticipate;
  • downstream use of any output, including publication, distribution, or reliance by you or anyone you share an output with.

We may, at our option and at your expense, assume exclusive defense and control of any matter you would otherwise indemnify. You will cooperate with our defense and will not settle any matter without our prior written consent.

10. Force majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including infrastructure outages (such as Cloudflare, npm, payment processors, or upstream AI providers), labor disputes, acts of government, network disruptions, cyberattacks targeting third parties, natural disasters, pandemics, or war. The affected obligation is suspended until the event ends; if the event continues for more than 30 days, either party may terminate the affected service without further liability.

11. Subprocessors

When you invoke a PRO tool, your input is forwarded through the following providers. The actual processing of your input is performed by the third-party model provider, not by Wyreup.

  • Cloudflare — hosting, edge compute (Pages Functions), database (D1), and AI inference (Workers AI).
  • An external image-model provider — hosts image PRO tools (background removal, upscaling). Current vendor disclosed on request.
  • Lemon Squeezy — merchant of record for credit purchases; receives your billing info, not your tool inputs.
  • Zoho (ZeptoMail) — transactional email delivery (welcome key, account notices).

See our privacy policy for what each subprocessor receives.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by sending an email to your account address. Continued use of Wyreup after a change constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept a change, your remedy is to stop using Wyreup and request a refund per the refund policy.

13. Termination

You may close your account at any time by emailing hello@wyreup.com. Unused credits at the time of closure are refundable per the refund policy. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate section 6, with no refund for credits associated with the violating activity.

Sections 5 (your inputs), 7 (warranty disclaimer), 8 (limitation of liability), 9 (indemnification), 14 (governing law), and any payment obligations you owe us survive termination.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Indiana. You consent to personal jurisdiction there and waive any objection to venue.

Any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Wyreup must be brought within one (1) year after the cause of action arose, or it is permanently barred, except to the extent applicable law prohibits a shorter limitations period.

If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction whose law grants you a non-waivable right to bring a dispute in your home courts, this section does not override that right.

15. Entire agreement; assignment; no waiver

These terms, together with the privacy policy and the refund policy, are the entire agreement between you and Wyreup regarding your use of the service. We may assign these terms to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets; you may not assign without our prior written consent. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that or any other provision.
